This is just an attempt to compile all my kitchen learnings. I hope you will like them and find them useful in your kitchen too!
Flavored waters infused with fresh fruits and vegetables - they're everything you never knew you wanted in a glass of water.
Plums with chat masala & fried capsicum with a tempering of mustard seeds, green chillies and asafoetida
Never throw away cauliflower & broccoli stems. Cut them into cubes and use them in curries as an alternate to potatoes. Deep freeze any extra vegetables you have in your fridge and use them whenever needed.
If you have some leftover biryani, just stuff them in bell peppers and bake for 20 min at 180 degrees. Serve with raita. An amazing side dish for lunch or dinner :)
When I have too many herbs lying in the fridge, I just chop them, add them to some soft butter, roll them up in cling film and refrigerate for future use. That way, you have a variety of flavored butter to use anytime :)
A few days back I was down with fever and the man of my life makes a pizza. Even though it was a frozen one, just to make it more nutritious and healthy, he spreads these salad leaves over the baked pizza. Such a great idea :) Saved us the guilt of eating junk food
