Fruit & berry jelly

Every kid loves a Wobbilicious jelly. Grown ups enjoy them equally too. Give a facelift to the traditional old jelly and it can easily be turned into a beautiful dessert or a centre piece of a party!

Jelly can refer to a dessert made from gelatine, agar agar or a fruit preserve similar to jam. I am using a readymade jelly powder with extracts of agar agar to set the jelly. It is commonly available in Indian markets and goes by the name china grass.

What you'll need:

1 x 135g pack any store bought berry jelly

To decorate : Fresh apples cut into cubes

Handful of mixed berries

How to :

Make up berry Jelly as directed on pack. Divide the Jelly between glasses. Drop a few pieces of apples or any fruit that complements the taste of jelly. Put them on a plate or tray in the fridge to set. They will take about 4 hours to set.

This is a single flavoured jelly with berries and apples, but you come up with various ideas of your own. Multilayered, multi flavoured jellies, or jellies topped whipped cream and fresh fruits. The sky is the limit!
